The Okami Legacy 1.7 - "The Race For The Heir Is On!"

"Aha! Yes! I did it!" Amaterasu has achieved her lifetime wish which is to become a Creature-Robot Cross Breeder, aka level 9 in the Science career track, and is now making heaploads of money.

If you thought that was good, it gets better. Especially since Amaterasu got promoted to Mad Scientist, level 10 of the Science career track, just a few days later.

The local newspaper even interviewed her on her success and sure enough, it got published the very next day.

She even got a little certificate saying that she maxed out the Gardening skill - which she did, for her job - and hung it on the study wall.

With all the lifetime reward points, a moodlet manager was able to be purchased! This little device will certainly be helpful at the house.

Amaterasu decided to test it out on herself, and instantly felt wide-awake.

"Ahahahah! I'm firin mah lazah!" Amaterasu enjoyed her career reward, which was to perform experiments on random objects.

"Eat math ray, boombox!" Amaterasu yelled, sending beams to her little radio.

She performed experiments on anything she could get her hands on, which included the fridge. Unfortunately, the fridge experiment went horribly wrong, and sparks erupted from it. "Oops! Well, we got produce in the garden!" shrugged Amaterasu.

"Nothing like a stove that makes pretty noises ..." Ammy murmured under her breath.

Hauki's birthday time! A large party was thrown, and the family cheered.

Haruki blew out the candles, but he was looking at Abigail the whole time. I think you know what he wished for.

Haruki grew up into the exact carbon copy of his father, Xander Clavell, but at this point Amaterasu didn't really care. He rolled the Coward trait for his final trait. His LTW was to be the Leader of the Free World. He could throw political parties, as well as, well, rule the world. It was the perfect ambition.

Holly offered him to dance, and being the party animal that he was, he couldn't refuse.

 

But all thoughts of dancing stopped when he found Abigail, just standing there all by herself. Unfortunately, before he could even say hi, she had to run off.

"Wow, I haven't danced since I was pregnant with Haruki!" Amaterasu sighed pleasantly as she remembered that dreamy night with Boyd.

"Judas! Jud-a-as! Judas, Jud-a-as! Judas! Jud-a-as! Judas, GAGA!" Amaterasu sang to one of her favorite songs, "Judas" by Lady Gaga.

"I'm just a holy fool, but baby it's cruel, but I'm still in love with Judas baby," she continued to sing along.

Haruki joined in. "Oooooooooh, so in love with Judas, Jud-a-as," they sang together.

"I'll bring him down, bring him down-down, aaaaaaaah aaaaaaaah ...." they both sang.

Boyd was getting older and weaker as the days passed. You could see it - the way his joints moved, the way he walked. Amaterasu wasn't worried, but Haruki called the doctor, and he told him to put Boyd on a deathwatch, as in, be careful because he could die any day now. Haruki didn't like what he heard, but he still observed Boyd carefully.

The couple was still at it, though.

"Oh, Ammy. We have a nice house, three beautiful children, and each other. Life is bliss!" exclaimed Boyd.

They then kissed even more.

"Remember when we worked at the bookstore, and you fell against a bookshelf and knocked over several bookshelves like they were dominoes?" The two men recrimised. "Yes ... I'm thankful I didn't get fired!" Haruki laughed.

Eventually, Abigail did come over. Haruki greeted her with warm eyes.

His eager lips were all ready to kiss hers. He leaned forward; that's all it took.

Haruki had been waiting forever to age up into a young adult so he could romance his girlfriend, and Abigail had too. Now they could finally be together.

Which meant a lot of making out.

"C'mere, you!" Haruki invited Abigail to cuddle on the couch.

For a birthday present, Boyd painted Haruki. "I'm sure he will love it," thought Boyd as he completed it.

It was time for the Okami twins to grow up! "Just in time for school, too!" laughed Aiko. "Ditto, twin!" Hotaru agreed, laughing with her.

"Me first! Whee!" Aiko the love child spun into young adulthood.

"My turn! No more homework! No more tests!" chanted Hotaru as she aged up.

Aiko Okami grew up into the prettiest young adult. Her one-sleeve dress with cherry blossoms pinned onto it complimented her shape. She had long, silky hair that she kept back with a clip. Her final trait rolled was Loves The Outdoors like her mother, and she aspired to be Super Popular by having 20 friends.

Hotaru "Firefly" Okami however, was different. She kept her same hairstyle as in her teen years. She had Boyd's blue eyes and Amaterasu's red-white hair. She had on a big but comfortable shirt, and rolled Neat for her final trait. She wished one day to reach the top of the Journalism career, as she got to do what she loved most, which was writing.

With the twins all grown up, the race for the heir was on.
